About Us

Addicts Against Overdose: The Hutchinson Chapter of Kansas Recovery Network

Who are we?

A.A.O. (Addicts Against Overdose) is a group of concerned and passionate citizens, many in Recovery themselves, from various backgrounds and social statuses that are all united under that banner of humanity to help curb the senseless deaths and other negative impacts from substance use that is plaguing our communities, counties, country, and all of humankind.

Our Mission:

It is our mission to further educate the public about the scope of the crisis and ways to combat this crisis using any means possible. We take a pro-active grassroots approach meaning ALL can and are more than welcome to have a part in our movement.

Our Vision:

A.A.O. has a vision. That vision includes increasing access to Naloxone and other life saving measures that help people who use drugs and the communities they live in. We also strive to inform and educate our communities about what harm reduction is and how it can help if we keep an open mind. This cant be done alone! We must all come together to bring these visions to reality!

Services

Please check our Facebook page for what supplies we have and when distributions are!

Safe use supplies:

We provide naloxone free of charge at our distributions as well as per request for people who use, their family members, businesses and first responders. We sometimes have hygiene products, feminine hygiene products, wound care kits and CPR face shields. Naloxone and wound care kits come with instructions and all items are while supplies last.

Training:

We can provide training on overdose prevention, responding to an overdose and using Naloxone (Narcan) to individuals, families, businesses and organizations per request
